Abstract


In this study, it will be analyzed two HTR concepts, VHTR and LS-VHTR, using reprocessed fuel coming from typical PWRs. Neutronic parameters obtained using the WIMSD5, and MCNPX2.6.0 codes are evaluated and compared. The results show good agreements in BOL but presents differences during the burnup.
